The Barrington Planning Board on Thursday night unanimously approved construction of an apartment building at 313 Clements Bridge Road, the former site of Harvey’s Card Shop, according to a post by The Retrospect.
The apartment building would contain eight units with two bedrooms and four units with one bedroom, along with 22 parking spaces, the report said.
The post also noted the structure will be two-stories tall, and vehicles will only be allowed to enter or exit via a right turn to keep traffic congestion to a minimum.
The plan still must be approved by the Barrington Borough Council before it is allowed to move forward. The next borough council meeting is at 6 p.m. March 12. There also is a caucus work session that is open to the public at 6:30 p.m. March 5.
