State aid remains flat for Barrington School District

The Barrington School District will receive $3,236,918 in state aid for the 2013-2014 school year — the same amount it received for 2012-2013, according to preliminary figures released by the state.

Woodland_School_3_no_dateStatewide, funding is expected to rise $97.3 million to a total of almost $9 billion, according to a Department of Education news release. The number is the highest in state history for K-12 funding, according to the release, and amounts to an average increase of $75 per pupil across the state.

Funding numbers for Barrington and its neighbors:

Bellmawr: $5.10M (up from $4.89M)

Haddon Heights: $1.31M (no change)

Haddonfield: $878,476 (up from $846,128)

Lawnside: $3.71M (up from $3.67M)

Magnolia: $3.05M (no change)

Runnemede: $4.79M (up from $4.78M)
