Brian Roberts has been posting witty puns and sayings for potential customers since the Mr. Roberts Lumber Center and Volney G. Bennett Lumber Company moved to Barrington in 1980.
“The messages are just spur of the moment, they just come to me,” Roberts says. “They get a favorable response. We don’t usually get any complaints.”
