The Delaware River Port Authority — the organization that runs the PATCO Hi-Speedline and the main bridges linking South Jersey and the Philadelphia region — is seeking a new South Jersey member for its Citizens Advisory Committee.
The committee was established in 2010 to encourage and enlist the participation of citizen customers who have a stake in the DRPA’s day-to-day operations. There are 24 committee members, half from Pennsylvania and half from New Jersey.
The committee is independent and advisory in nature. Meetings are open to the public and cover a wide range of topics including DRPA operations, budgets, policy and issues of general concern.
