Farmers market set to reopen in Haddonfield

Saturday is opening day of the 2012 season for the Haddonfield Farmers Market, in case you’re looking for Jersey Fresh fruits and veggies right off the truck.

Farmers Market at Kings Court – from http://haddonfieldfarmersmarket.org/

The market will run every Saturday from May 19 through Oct. 20 in the Kings Court area right in the center of town — potentially within walking distance for some Barrington residents. Vendors will be selling from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine.

According to the Haddonfield Farmers Market Facebook page, they also will be giving away 500 saplings to plant at home on opening day to celebrate Earth Day an Arbor Day and support the Haddonfield Green Team.

The market also will have products from Orchardview, Old School, Duffield’s, Muth Flowers, Respond Bakery, Sara’s Produce, Spino Farms and Mitchell and Geno, a specialty sausage company, according to the Facebook page.
