School board to renew 92 employees at meeting tonight

At the Barrington Schools Board of Education meeting tonight, members are scheduled to renew almost 100 employees for the 2012-13 school year, including Superintendent/Principal Anthony Arcodia and dozens of teachers, along with secretaries, aides, custodians, nurses and more, according to the board agenda.

The renewals regularly take place in May as the school year winds down.

The board also is scheduled to take action on revisions of field trips for the current school year. According to the agenda, the trips by class are/were:

K:  Philadelphia Zoo – May 18
1: Fernbrook Farms, Bordentown – May 15
2: Adventure Aquarium, Camden – May 4
3: Hagley Museum, Wilmington, Del. –  October 19, 2011
4: Barclay Farms, Cherry Hill – May 4
5: Franklin Institute, Philadelphia – May 18
6: Citizens Bank Park/Liberty Museum, Philadelphia – May 25
7: Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, May 11
8: Tavistock Swim Club, Barrington – June 12
AIM: Art Museum, Philadelphia – May 17
School Clubs: Clementon Park – June 1
