Wild turkeys spotted in Barrington neighborhood

An unusual story for Barrington: Two wild turkeys were seen Sunday afternoon walking down Chesterfield Road.
The fairly large birds stayed on the sidewalk for a while before several people showed up with cameras and some cars slowed down to look. At that point, they flew briefly to go into someone’s backyard.

Have you ever seen any wild turkeys in Barrington? What’s the most unusual wild animal you have seen in the borough?

Last year behind Woodland school there was a good sized doe just at the tree line near the rail road tracks.
