PLEASE consider writing a letter/email to the Barrington Board of Education demanding that they NOT accept Mort Argoe’s letter of resignation. You can also write to the Camden County Superintendent of Schools and request a formal investigation into this matter.
I too encourage the board not to accept his resignation. Then they would be forced to file tenure changes and we would all find out ALL the facts. This, however, would then not allow Mr. Argo to keep his actions private – which he has chosen to do so far. I guess the only bad part would be the thousands of dollars required to file tenure charges and possibly the plate of crow many people would be forced to eat.
