The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and Excessive Heat Watch for Barrington and the surrounding region from Friday through Sunday.
According to the warning, heat index values around 100 degrees are expected each of those three afternoons, with actual temperatures in the mid- to upper-90s.
The lowest temperature between Thursday evening and Tuesday morning is expected to be in the low-70s.

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH MEANS THAT A PROLONGED PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED.
