Investigation extended into U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews

From NJ.com:

The Office of Congressional Ethics said in a recent report that there is “substantial reason to believe” Rep. Rob Andrews of Haddon Heights broke the law when he spent campaign funds for a family trip to Scotland and other expenses.

The committee can recommend a full House vote on penalties ranging from a fine and a reprimand to censure or, in the most extreme cases, expulsion.

Andrews (D-1st Dist.) insisted in a statement released by his office he did nothing wrong. “As the committee continues its review, the record will show that I have followed all rules and met all standards of the House,” he said.
