Changes will be coming to the Woodland computer curriculum, Barrington Superintendent Anthony Arcodia said, because of differences between the Barrington curriculum and the curriculum that was being taught to students in the same grades in the Haddon Heights School District.
As a result of the differences, Barrington and Lawnside children were having difficulty passing the test to start in the top-level computer classes at Haddon Heights High School, the superintendent said.
“Barrington is teaching to standards. Haddon Heights is teaching to the test,” he said.
After a meeting with officials at Haddon Heights, Arcodia said Barrington and Lawnside now have a better understanding of expectations and revisions to reflect continuity and consistency are being made.
