Barrington police report 21 adults arrested in September

The Barrington Police Department answered 418 calls, issued 86 traffic citations and arrested 21 adults in September, according to the report presented to the Barrington Borough Council recently.

Barrington policeIn September 2011, the police answered 447 calls, issued 69 traffic citations and arrested 18 adults. In the same month in 2010, the police answered 501 calls, issued 129 traffic citations and arrested 29 adults.

Calls to the police this month included four for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, four for disorderly conduct, two for sudden death, two for assault, two for obstruction of justice, two for burglary (one motor vehicle, one home), one for threats, one for theft and one for found controlled dangerous substances.
