A public notice posted Jan. 1 confirms the property at 1201 Clements Bridge Road, the Roadhouse Saloon, will be part of a sheriff’s sale at noon Jan. 23.
The Roadhouse, site of a shooting last January, has been closed since spring. Its liquor license was purchased in April (“Liquor license for Barrington’s now-closed Road House to change hands“) by Delco Development LLC, which hopes to use it as part of a redevelopment effort along the White Horse Pike (“Liquor-license purchaser: ‘Looking forward to doing something great in Barrington’ ” and “Construction on White Horse Pike project unlikely to get started before 2013“).
The sheriff’s sale is looking to recover “approximately $1,189,429.24,” according to the public notice. The tract was seized as the property of BBMJ, LLC, a Florida-based firm, and taken in execution of Bank of America, N.A.
