Barrington Borough Council will set aside time tonight for public input on plans to acquire land along the White Horse Pike near Victor’s Liquors and Bok Bok Fresh as part of a redevelopment project.
Council also will consider a plan to share a chief financial officer and tax collector with Merchantville in order to keep costs down for borough residents and will introduce an ordinance that would raise sewer fees on borough residents to help pay for the service.
The meeting will be the first at the new 6 p.m. meeting time — a change made to see whether there is any increase in public participation.
Council also will seek public input before voting on an ordinance that would require annual inspections of rental properties in the borough.
It also will authorize the appointment of three new members to the borough fire department: Tyler C. Barner, Austin D. McCleery and Zacchary Giannone.
