The unexpected closure of the Barrington Coffee House may have left a lunchtime void for some, but a relatively new borough lunch spot is working to fill that need.
Going Greens, operated by borough resident Amanda Hunt, opened this fall inside Novella’s Creamery on Clement’s Bridge Road.
The business specializes in fresh-made salads and wraps for people looking for healthier eating options, Hunt said. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, but hours are expected to extend to weekends once spring arrives.
“We’re very sorry to see the Barrington Coffee House close its doors, though we look forward to hosting their customers for lunch,” she said.
The Going Greens menu includes a soup of the day and homemade chili each day, along with a dozen salad-or-wrap lunches available with lettuce, multigrain wrap or whole wheat penne.
Dine-in, carry-out and delivery service are available. Contact Going Greens at (856) 546-4933.
