The most complete and most convenient source for news and information about the borough of Barrington, N.J.
Since before the Lawnside Pathmark closed in April, rumors swirled that ShopRite was going to take its place. And when the Lawnside Kmart closed after the holidays, new rumors sprouted of a giant ShopRite taking over that location.
Map shows position of 130 N. White Horse Pike in Lawnside, the address ShopRite lists for its new store.
While no official announcement has been made of a new store opening in the region, ShopRite’s website shows a new store will, indeed, take the place of the former Pathmark store. The address listed — 130 N. White Horse Pike — matches that of the former Pathmark, while the address for Kmart is 200 N. White Horse Pike.
No contact information is listed on the website, and the only other information shown is that the store’s hours are “coming soon.”
The opening will return an anchor store to the upper portion of the plaza, while Home Depot remains anchoring the lower portion. It also will return a grocery store to the region following the closure of Pathmark and the relatively nearby Pathmark SuperFresh in Westmont.
I believe it is a SuperFresh closing in Westmont not a Shoprite.
You’re correct. Thank you. Change has been made.
