The Barrington School District will receive $3,236,918 in state aid for the 2013-2014 school year — the same amount it received for 2012-2013, according to preliminary figures released by the state.
Statewide, funding is expected to rise $97.3 million to a total of almost $9 billion, according to a Department of Education news release. The number is the highest in state history for K-12 funding, according to the release, and amounts to an average increase of $75 per pupil across the state.
