21 adults arrested in Barrington in February

The Barrington Police Department answered 403 calls and 121 complaints during February, according to the monthly report delivered to the borough council this week.

Police-car-lightsAmong the crime reported in the month were two thefts of a motor vehicle and seven possessions of a controlled dangerous substance.

Overall, police arrested 21 adults and issued 87 traffic summonses.

In comparison, the department made 21 arrests and issued 139 traffic summonses while answering 487 calls and 115 complaints last February.

Among the calls answered and arrests made last month were:

  • 7 possession of a controlled dangerous substance (drugs)
  • 2 theft of a motor vehicle
  • 2 disorderly person
  • 1 theft
  • 1 ID theft
