The Camden County Board of Freeholders and Constitutional Row Officers honored 230 students from 34 county high schools this week — including seven students from Haddon Heights High School.
Among those seven, Barrington’s Devon Catts was recognized with the School Spirit Award for Haddon Heights High School.
Also recognized were Aubrey Andrews as Best Overall Student, Kyle Berner with the Community Service Award, Ryley Bushey with the Leadership Award, Mariel R. Migliaccio as the Most Courageous Student, Khyleef Moore as the Most Improved Student and Zachary Taylor as the top Performing Arts Student.
All seven freeholders—Director Louis Cappelli, Jr., Deputy Director Edward McDonnell , Freeholders Jeffrey Nash, Carmen Rodriguez, Ian Leonard, Scot McCray and Michelle Gentek — along with Surrogate Patricia Egan Jones, County Clerk Joe Ripa and Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt were on hand to present the awards, according to CamdenCounty.com.
Students each received a plaque and certificate from the Board of Freeholders, according to the report. Some also received citations from their legislative district.
