Members of the public are invited to visit and watch as monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery in India meticulously work over several days using colored sand to create a work of art — then destroy the work as “a metaphor of the impermanence of life.”
The demonstration will take place June 25 to 30 at the Haddonfield Friends Meeting House, 45 Friends Ave., where visitors are welcome to observe and take part in the project.
