— A recent spate of shooting in Camden included the shooting of a 21-year-old Barrington man, who was shot several times, according to a report at The unidentified victim was treated at Cooper University Hospital.

— A Lawnside police lieutenant, the highest ranking member of the department, was charged with official misconduct and tampering with evidence and public records, according to a report. Lloyd Lewis, 44, allegedly failed to notify authorities of a suspect’s confession  about  his role in a homicide, failed to mention the statement in an incident report he wrote and allowed video of the confession to be recorded over.

Battleship_New_Jersey— The Battleship New Jersey, the most decorated warship in U.S. history, will get $1.4 million from the state this year, according to a report. The ship built at the Philadelphia Naval Yard at the beginning of World War II but remains in danger of being moved to North Jersey.
