The Haddon Heights Police Department reports the following on its Facebook page:
On Oct. 7, just after midnight, a witness observed a suspect possibly burglarizing vehicles in the 400 block of First Avenue. Haddon Heights Police Department officers were able to locate the suspect, who was inside a vehicle. The suspect was not listening to officer commands and reaching towards his waist; he was taken to the ground and arrested. A knife was found in his waistband.
Shortly thereafter, officers determined the male suspect had a female accomplice. She was stopped by police in the 500 block of White Horse Pike and taken into custody by Haddon Heights Police Department and Barrington Police Department.
Both suspects were charged accordingly and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
Eight incidents were resolved based on this investigation, they were in the areas of: 400 block of First Avenue, 300 block of Crest, four incidents on the 500 block of Fourth Avenue, 400 block of 2 Second Avenue and the 500 block of Third Avenue.
