As far as the NJSIAA seedings are concerned, Haddon Heights High School’s field hockey team has the best chance to deliver a title to the school this fall.
In the brackets released for field hockey and girls and boys soccer tournaments this fall, the Haddon Heights field hockey team (14-4-1) has the highest seed at No. 2 in the Central Jersey Group 1 tournament. Collingswood (15-2-1) is the favorite in the group.
The high rank earned the team a bye in the first round. They’ll play Tuesday against the winner of No. 7 Haddonfield vs. No. 10 Woodbury. If they win, they’ll play again Friday.
The girls soccer team (10-8-1) earned a No. 6 seed and will play Monday against No. 11-seed Buena in the South Jersey Group 2 tournament. The winner will face No. 3-seed Woodstown on Thursday.
The boys soccer team (10-9) earned a No. 8 seed and will play Tuesday against No. 9-seed Deptford in the South Jersey Group 2 tournament. The winner will face the winner of No. 1 West Deptford vs. No. 16 Bridgeton on Friday.
