Barrington police log: Dog attack, drug/warrant arrests, car theft, more

Monthly report on police activity in Barrington as provided by the police department:

— 10/01/2013: Motor vehicle stop in the 100 block of West Gloucester Pike resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old male for supplying false information to police.

— 10/02/2013: Pedestrian stop at the intersection of Route 30 and Clements Bridge Road resulted in arrest of a 30-year-old male for outstanding warrants and possession of two hypodermic needles.

police— 10/04/2013: Motor vehicle stop on Route 30 for an inspection sticker violation resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old male for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and CDS paraphernalia and his 21-year-old female passenger for outstanding warrants.

— 10/05/2013: Pedestrian stop of a suspicious 52-year-old male on a bicycle in the 100 block of Shreve Avenue resulted in the issuance of a borough ordinance violation and several motor vehicle code violations involving his bicycle.

— 10/14/2013: A 40-year-old female was charged as a disorderly person after interfering with Barrington EMS while they attempted to treat a patient.

— 10/28/2013: A motor vehicle was stolen from the Barrington Mews Senior Citizens Complex.

— 10/29/2013: A burglary of an automobile from the rear of 1307 Hancock Drive occurred resulting in the theft of a wallet and a GPS unit.

— 10/29/2013: Pedestrian stop of two 19-year-old males in the 200 block of West Gloucester Pike resulted in the arrest of one for obstructing the administration of law and hindering apprehension. The second was arrested on two outstanding warrants and issued a motor vehicle violation.

— 10/29/2013: Pedestrian stop of a 23-year-old male and a 24-year-old male in the 600 block of Clements Bridge Road resulted in the arrest of the 23-year-old male for theft of copper piping from a local business.

— 10/31/2013: Motor vehicle stop on Reamer Drive resulted in the arrest of a 54-year-old male for obstructing the administration of law.

— 10/31/2013: Pedestrian walking in the 900 block of Clements Bridge Road reported being chased down and bitten by one of two dogs that were involved in the incident.
