Barrington police log: Identity theft, scam, multiple thefts, too many dogs

Monthly report on police activity in Barrington in March as provided by the police department:

— 03/02/2014: A report of a male selling door to door in the 100 block of Kingston Avenue without a borough permit resulted in the 22-year-old male being charged for soliciting without a permit.

Police-car-lights— 03/03/2014: A report of two suspicious males on the 600 block of Davis Road resulted in the arrest of one male for multiple active warrants and both were charged for soliciting without a permit.

— 03/04/2014: A theft report was taken in the unit block of East Gloucester Pike.

— 03/04/2014: A report of a scam was taken on the unit block of West Gloucester Pike for a resident who sent money to an unknown person who was supposed to increase the money sent by ten times.

— 03/07/2014: A report of a 46-year-old male not leaving an establishment on the 500 block of Clements Bridge Road when instructed to by the staff resulted in the male being charged with violation of a borough ordinance for creating a disturbance.

— 03/10/2014: A pedestrian stop in the 1200 block of Clements Bridge Road of a 22-year-old male resulted in his arrest for an outstanding warrant and for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

— 03/11/2014: A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the 500 block of Clements Bridge Road resulted in the arrest of a 49-year-old female for driving while intoxicated.

— 03/12/2014: A report in the 1200 block of Clements Bridge Road for a 49-year-old female in medical distress resulted in the same female being charged with violation of a borough ordinance for creating a nuisance.

— 03/20/2014: A report of criminal mischief was taken near the 1302 building of the Willows Apartments for a vehicle with two punctured tires.

— 03/22/2014: A report of theft from a parked vehicle overnight was taken in the 200 block of Princeton Road. The items taken were sports equipment.

— 03/22/2014: A report of theft from a parked vehicle overnight was taken in the 200 block of Princeton Road. The items taken were money and electronic equipment.

— 03/22/2014: A report of theft from a parked vehicle overnight was taken in the 100 block of Avon Road. The items taken were documents and identification.

— 03/23/2014: A call for a disturbance in the 100 block of Clements Bridge Road resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old male for theft, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

— 03/26/2014: A traffic stop on Copley Road in the area of Interstate 295 resulted in the 54-year-old female driver being charged with disorderly persons and receiving multiple traffic violations.

— 03/26/2014: A report of identity theft was taken in the 2000 block of Reamer Drive.

— 03/27/2014: A report of theft was taken on the 400 block of Albany Avenue. The theft was of gas from the owner’s vehicle.

— 03/29/2014: A report of theft was taken in the 3000 block of Reamer Dr. The items taken were plates and silverware.

— 03/30/2014: A report of criminal mischief was taken in the 100 block of Shreve Ave. The residence was egged overnight.

— 03/30/2014: A report of barking dogs in the unit block of Cedar Avenue resulted in the resident being charged with a borough ordinance for having more than three dogs living at the residence.
