HHHS band, color guard come up big at Tournament of Bands

The Haddon Heights High School band and color guard showed off their talents and this month at the Tournament of Bands Indoor Championship in Wildwood and walked away with a number of medals.

The event features marching bands, indoor guard, majorette, percussion and dance teams, as well as jazz bands from seven states ranging from middle school through college level.

Phylicia Robenolt provided the following  recap of the 2014 indoor championship season:

  • High Voltage Color Guard: 2014 T.I.A. South Jersey Champion, USBands Indoor Color Guard Champion
  • Synergy Color Guard: M.A.I.N. Junior champion, USBands Junior champion, T.I.A. South Jersey Junior Champion
  • Short Circuit Color Guard: USBands elementary champion, T.I.A. South Jersey Junior High School Champion
  • Haddon Heights Indoor Percussion Ensemble: T.I.A. South Jersey Champion, T.I.A. Atlantic Coast Percussion Champion
